TOMS

Yesterday....i met Blake Mycoskie....

but i better start from the begging....

I drove to mpenaki museum yesterday...in Athens...to attend the speech of Blake Mycoskie... the Founder and Chief Shoe Giver of TOMS Shoes...aka TOMorrow Shoes.....
I am very happy i did....i listened him talking about the story of TOMS, the story of his bussiness and how he started a shoe company without knowing anything about shoes...
First step a trip to Argentina...for vacations...then ...the need to help the ones in need...then the idea conception...then combining that with a business....then TOMS...

Basic idea was...One for One ....with every pair purcahased  TOMS will give a pair of new shoes to a child in need....

Fashioned after the traditional Argentine alpargata, TOMS Classics were the first shoes produced by TOMS......as a tribute to where everything started.....

The first article in a magazine that drew attention to TOMS was this....Devil wears TOMS.....

Soon come the Celebs....

The thing i loved about Blake...except he is a very good public speaker....is that he made me think how i can include this concept of giving in my bussiness...in order to get.

Blake also has started a campaign.....One Day Without Shoes...
to truly understand the importance of wearing shoes....
Blake also has a facebook page...and a blog.....and a YouTube channel...

Also i love how good TOMS look when you paint on them and add your personal touch...

Recently they made TOMS wedges....

Blake was rocking..Earle Organic Cotton Men's Vegan Classics pair...

Mine favourites are..the White Canvas Classics...that i could get 3-4 to drew on them...

and  Mairal Cordones...

and Prima Classics....

Another advantage is that their price is.....44$....so my suggestion for Greek readers are to buy them online...cause they charge them 65 or 70 euros here....

Now i have a new goal and wish....i want to go volunteerly along Blake and TOMS team to the next shoe drop....

Blake and TOM shoes..will you have me?
